IDAHOBIT 2024 The voices of EUVP alumni - Webinar
Online event organised by the European Parliament in ASEAN & the European Union Visitors Programme

This Friday is International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia, an opportunity to remind us that all human beings, regardless of whom they love and how they see and define themselves, are born free and equal in dignity and rights. To mark the occasion, the European Union Visitors Programme along with the European Parliament in ASEAN is organising a live event. The event will be an opportunity to reflect upon the situation of the LGBTQIA+ community in the European Union as well as overseas, and on the steps needed to further combat discrimination worldwide. Last year, the European Parliament called for the global decriminalisation of homosexuality and transgender identity.
